SHORT TERM TRIPS

We regularly plan short-term mission trips for groups from abroad (please see our calendar). We usually arrange for transportation to and from the airport, a boat (with sleeping facilities), a cook, permission to work in several villages, and tourist activities. If you or someone you know is interested in participating in one of these trips, or planning one of your own, please contact us by filling out the questionnaire below.

LONG TERM OPPORTUNITIES

We are currently in need of:

  1. A full-time pilot to run the aviation side of our program. We are praying for a seaplane that will be able to evacuate patients with medical emergencies out of the jungle to hospitals in larger cities. The plane will also be able to deliver needed supplies to the boat.
  2. Boat captains: Person dedicated to the Lord’s work with experience in boat maintenance and upkeep, experience with diesel engines.  Basic medical knowledge would be a plus.  Either fluent in Portuguese to take a boat captain’s licensure test or hold a current international boat captain’s license. Vegetarian cooking experience helpful. (Brazilian citizen or married to a Brazilian in able to get visa privileges to stay in the country).
  3. Evangelism and health workers who speak Portuguese who are willing to live on a boat and travel into the interior of the jungle to teach people of Christ’s love. Vegetarian cooking experience helpful. (Brazilian citizen or married to a Brazilian in able to get visa privileges to stay in the country).
  4. Diesel Engine Mechanic – for our boat maintenance.
